“If you walk pigeon …
“If you walk pigeon toed angle your bindings in”? That would make you incredibly uncomfortable and make it almost impossible to turn! Use either duck footed or forward stance depending on the riding you will do. Don’t listen to this supposed “expert.”

If your not a racer …
If your not a racer, your riding duck foot. Everybody rides both ways at some point.
obviously you set your board up reg or goofy, but you can rock it both ways. Most boards are twins, almost all legit freestyle boards are true twins.
learn to mount your self when you get better. Shops will give you some crazy stances sometime….
oh ans DO NOT PUT YOUR FEET A FOOT A PART ON THE SNOWBOARD!!!! Not only will you look like a total noob, but you can’t control the board like that.
Wide stance

expert village …
expert village sucks at everything. noobs can’t teach noobs.
For the most part just try it out see what works. If your getting into the park ask kids for tips. As long as your not being a gaper and getting in the way all the time most people are cool with helping you out.
As for “expert” village they aren’t helping anyone. You can’t teach snowboarding if you can’t snowboard
